A Mother and Father negotiate custody of their daughter during a walk through the park. The Father threatens to “keep her”

Desperate the Mother, a doctor makes deal with a dangerous young man she has treated for acid burns. He wants repay her kindness by sending a message to her husband with the same acid he burned himself with. She agrees.

The Mother changes her mind and never shows up to give the acid man a picture of her daughters Father. The acid man tracks her down outside the emergency room where she works and holding a jar of acid insists that he “Pay her back”. She gets him a picture of the Father

She then tells the Father what she did. The Father gets a description of the man vowing to “take care of it”

The next night the acid man stating “he knows what she did” again confronts the Mother. The acid man also tells her the Father renegotiated and paid him a lot of money. Now he something for her. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out…….a picture of the Mother and Daughter given to him by the Father. We’re even” he states and walks into the night.
